this one’s for me

It’s a rainy Monday after Thanksgiving. The Christmas panic is building. The forecast is calling for snow flurries for our balmy middle Georgia area. The list of things to do is growing by every email and phone call. There is an in tact deer head in my freezer and I just found a human tooth on the hearth. And? I missed my last hair appointment.

This is what the upcoming week seems like:

Go or stay? Front or back? Yes or no? Do it now or do it later? Will the garland stay or will it fall? Will anybody even notice?
..
..

Oh, I’m sorry…I wasn’t clear…this post isn’t for you. This one’s for me.

If the person with all the answers will please step forward.

Hellooo… Is this thing on???

    Go
    Front
    Yes
The garland will fall, possibly in the middle of Christmas dinner causing a ruckus. This will in turn send the dog into a barking frenzy which will cause the cat to run for cover. As he/she is ducking under the table for shelter he/she will catch grandma’s tablecloth which was just a tad to long for the table, but you didn’t think it would matter, bringing mama’s crystal and china crashing to the floor scattered among turkey bones and green bean casserole. “Food”, the dog will think, cease his barking and take off on your beautifully laid new carpet with a turkey leg. The gravy bowl dumped on the cat’s head and he/she is now laying in the middle of your bed dripping turkey livers. Stunned and seeing you on the verge of a completely melt down holding on to the only thing you managed to keep from hitting the floor, the carving knife, your relatives will begin cleaning up the mess, while your husband begins calling Chinese restaurants to see who is opened.
    No, nobody will notice.

    Have a great day!!
